Destination Technologies, Inc. is a provider of technology products and servics to the Meeting & Event Planning
industry, based in Wailuku, HI. We contributed to a commercial desktop software application, inheriting the project in late-stage development.
We streamlined the application, put it through a formal test process, wrote a custom installation script, and saw the long-delayed product
to market in November 2003.

The Institute of Nutrition Education & Research is a non-profit organization
providing information to those who choose to nourish themselves on plant-based diets. We designed and implemented both a desktop application,
and a data-driven web application for collecting and analyzing nutritional profiles of participants in the Institute's Vegan Health Study.

Interstate Outdoor Advertising, LP is a billboard advertising company based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. We inhertied a desktop
office management application from another developer halfway through the timeline. We made major changes, streamlined and completed the project

Direct Data Designs
Direct Data Designs is a direct-mail data processing company based in Grand Junction, Colorado. We provided programming services in the form of 2 utilities for processing and extracting data from a Maui realty database.
Tim was born in 1970 in Lusaka, Zambia, Africa to father Neil (PhD, Frederick H. Ecker Professor of Insurance and Risk Management, Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania) and mother Ann
(PhD, Director of Africa Programs, Catholic Medical Mission Board). After growing up in Britain, Tim moved with his family to Canada ('77 - '81), and then to the U.S. in 1981. After
five years in the midwest, the next fifteen years were spent in Philadelphia where Tim attended Temple
University, earning dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer & Information Sciences and Psychology, and a minor in Philosophy. During and after college Tim worked
as a musician in and around the Philadelphia area, while beginning a career in Software and Web Development.
The next several years were spent in the employ of various industries in the
Philadelphia area before moving into consulting in April 2000. Consulting proved both rewarding and stimulating, and further expanded the industries to which Tim was exposed.
After moving to Maui in 2001, he spent five years working as an independent contractor and also as an employee of a local tech startup before taking the plunge into small business ownership.
In March 2006, Doherty Computing Solutions LLC was officially formed with the goal of providing a one-stop shop for Maui's web and software development needs. In February, 2007 Tim relocated with
his family to South Florida, where Doherty Computing Solutions set the standard for the best IT service available. Now based in Southern California, Doherty Computing Solutions continues to lead the pack with innovative and intuitive solutions for your business.
In his spare time (spare time?),
Tim enjoys SCUBA diving, in which he currently holds the PADI Divemaster certification. He recently took up underwater photography and a few photos can be found here. Tim also enjoys playing piano/keyboards, writing music, cooking,
